Pentosan Gold Injection for Horse contains Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium (PPS) which stimulates joint healing and repair, and reduces inflammation to help reverse the effects of osteoarthritis, as well as NAG (Acetyl Glucosamine) a newly approved and more advanced form of glucosamine that has been shown to improve glycosaminoglycan and hyaluronic acid synthesis compared to glucosamine (Shikhman AR et al 2009).
