Non-prescription items

If purchases from us and your product(s) is defective or does not meet your needs (subject to meeting the below rules), we'll happily replace or refund the product.

Terms and conditions

There are certain products that cannot be returned due to a change of mind. 

Products that cannot be returned to us due to change of mind include:

  • Food and other perishable products – we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on open edible items such as food or treats due to strict health policies
  • Other perishable products
  • Products that need to be stored at air-conditioned temperatures
  • Products that are not in their original condition or are not resaleable (for example, have been used or the packaging has been opened)
  • Products that have "no returns" or similar written on their product page
Damaged or faulty products

If you have received a damaged or faulty product, please email info@myvet.co.nz with the below information.

  • Contact details
  • Photos of the item(s)
  • Order number
How to return a product

If you want to return a product other than the above, please email info@myvet.co.nz within 14 days of receipt. Please include the below so we can assist you as soon as possible. 

  • Your name
  • Contact details
  • Order number
  • Product(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return

We do not cover costs of these returns. Refunds will generally be provided in the same form as your original payment.

Prescription medications

Regardless of whether it is opened or unopened, we cannot accept return prescription medication in accordance with our governing guidelines set out by the A.C.V.M. Â
