Advantage is a once a month flea treatment for cats and kittens 2 weeks or older. This product kills 98-100% of the fleas on cats and dogs within 12 hours.

  • Kills fleas, flea larvae in pet surroundings, treats fleas on rabbits.
  • Safe, convenient and easy to apply.
  • One application lasts for 4 weeks.
  • Treats and controls flea allergy dermatitis.
  • Kills 98-100 percent of fleas within 12 hours of initial application Also inhibits larval development in your pet's surroundings by more than 99 percent.

Ingredients: 100 g/L Imidacloprid.

Directions: Place the applicator tip through the animals hair to the skin level. On cats, apply to skin on neck at the base of the skull. Do not get this product in the pets eyes or mouth.

Side Effects: Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately.

Cautions: This product is for external use on cats 8 weeks or older. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated or aged animals. Advantage is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Call poison information center if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.

I’m happy with the product but didn’t read information properly. I would usually purchase revolution as treatment includes ticks and worms even though I do worm my cats as well. I only looked at the price but that’s fine. Will check next time I purchase flea treatment

Changed from Frontline, and Advantage has certainly worked well, but will get Moxiclear to use every other month while using Advantage, as I am worried about ear mites....
