In two studies, practicing veterinarians found Vivitonin
to be effective at improving non-specific signs of ageing
(e.g. appetite, activity, mobility, condition, haircoat) in more
than 75% of dogs.6 Subjective improvements were also
reported in hearing and vision.
Propentofylline has been suggested as a therapeutic option
for cognitive dysfunction in dogs.5 It has a wide safety margin
with almost no contraindications.1,7 Avoid use in pregnant or
lactating dogs as studies have not yet been conducted.
