Indicated for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive and stereotypic behaviours in dogs, including acral lick dermatitis (lick granuloma), excessive licking or grooming, and repetitive tail chasing.

Also used as an aid in managing canine anxiety disorders, including separation anxiety in dogs. May assist in reducing behaviours such as destructiveness, excessive barking or vocalisation, and inappropriate urination or loss of toilet control linked to anxiety.
