Clavulox may be prescribed to treat a variety of bacterial infections of the skin, urinary tract, soft tissues, respiratory system, and gum infections. It may be prescribed by a veterinarian to treat urinary tract infections, infections of the skin and soft tissue including wounds, abscesses, cellulitis, dermatitis, and pyoderma in dogs and cats. It may also be used to treat dental infections and periodontal disease in dogs.
