| Ingredients | Advocate consists of Imidacloprid and moxidectin as the active ingredients. The ingredients destroy parasites by stopping their neurotransmissions. They disrupt the invertebrate nerve and muscle cells by attacking the central nervous system. It causes paralysis and eventually destroys them. The ingredients kills 98-100% fleas within 12 hours of application. They remain effective for an entire month and cut down the emerging flea population. It is safe to use on puppies that are at least 7 weeks of age. Imidacloprid spreads rapidly over your pet, killing 98-100% of adult fleas within 12 hours of application. In addition, Imidacloprid controls flea larvae in the pet's environment and reduces the incidence of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) |
